Art For Life LUCKY RED and 12 MIDNITE invite you to ART FOR LIFE
help out a good cause, fill your face with chocolate and pick up some great art this Saturday.
LUCKY RED has donated one of 12 MIDNITE'S latest neon-lit pop art masterpieces to this Saturday's ART FOR LIFE auction in Vancouver. The auction will benefit The Vancouver Friends For Life Society which "works with individuals living with life-threatening illnesses, helping them to take an active role in their holistic wellness journey in order to move through pain, anxiety, vulnerability, fear, and social isolation."
Attached is a photo of "UNBROKEN" which is a prime example of midnite's current direction, a 4 by 4 foot piece incorporating many elements of past work: antique ruby neon, the ubiquitous heart-and-crossbones and hot rod flames, all in the non-traditional cut out format. Though the value is conservatively set at $3,500.00 it will go at auction for whatever the market will bear. You never know, you might get a good deal, and you'll have that warm feeling that comes from helping folks in need, and walk out out with a tax receipt.
